Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center


The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center is a non-profit organization that helps orphaned and injured animals by nursing them back to health and putting them back into the wild, or by giving them a permanent home at the center. This place was awesome!


Reindeer actually have velvet on their antlers. That's why they look fuzzy.

Muskox

Color is not a reliable way to tell bears apart. The hump on this Grizzly's back distinguishes it from the Black Bear.
