The Anchorage Museum in downtown Anchorage. Our tour began with the Native settlements of Alaska. We then explored the Russian discovery of the land, the eventual U.S. purchase of the state, and finally present day Alaska and Anchorage. With dioramas, huge exhibits, and tons of artifacts and re-creations it was rather difficult to see everything.
